Muskie in Sand Point Lake?
|

This
talented fisherman sent us a photo of his
amazing catch - a 46" muskie! What
a surprise! Muskies are sometimes called
the fish of ten thousand casts. They are
quite uncommon and rather ferocious when hooked - a
fisherman's dream. Muskies are rare in
Voyageurs National Park, but obviously some
are out
there! We love the fishing stories and
photos that you send in. Thanks for
sharing this one! Congratulations!

Summer sure is flying by! We have enjoyed
beautiful weather for the most part with average
temps in the mid 70's. The days have been
sunny and cool with great sleeping weather at
night - this morning it was only 39 degrees!
Our guests have loved the clear skies and sunshine
which makes the rich and beautiful colors of
nature even more incredibly brilliant!
