Summer fishing action has been strong.  Lots of Smallies being caught in the 18*-20″ range.  Walleye action is still good.  Fish are in their summer patterns now on the reefs.  Best bait now seems to be a jig or a lindy tipped with a crawler or leech.  Fishing on Namakan, Sand Point and Crane have bee producing lots of Walleye’s in and out of the slot.  Plenty of quality fish measuring 22″-26″.  Slot Limit sure has helped.  Some angles report trolling is working well too.  More to come later.
